To celebrate her birthday this year, Pat Robson sponsored an exhibition, Trio, at The Harbour Gallery. The exhibition was held to raise money for 3 local charities, Jersey Arts in Healthcare Trust, Love Thy Neighbour and The Company of Dogs – all three provide a a wonderful service to the Jersey public and have a special meaning to Pat.
The wonderful artists of The Harbour Gallery and some who have become friends from the UK and Europe either donated or put paintings, jewellery, ceramics, wood, photography and textiles into the exhibition on a 50/50 basis; The Harbour Gallery took no commission.
All profits from the exhibition have been divided equally between the three charities. Pat and The Harbour Gallery ‘crew’ were delighted to hand over a cheque for £1,100 from Art in the Frame Foundation, the charity that runs The Harbour Gallery, to EACH of the three charity representatives at a presentation at The Harbour Gallery on Saturday 11th November. Money was also collected in charity buckets.
To collect the cheques were Sam Allitt and Marion Morton representing The Company Of Dogs, Graham Boxall and Val Aitken for Jersey Arts in Healthcare Trust and Catriona Fern for Love Thy Neighbour. The presentation was also attended by 2 Company of Dog dogs, Billy Bob in his wonderful coat, Sam Allitt’s little boy and Nicholas Robson, the Gallery mascot.
The Harbour Gallery artists… we could not have done this without you, a VERY big thank you to you all!!
