St Aubin Studio

The Harbour Gallery Mencap Sewing Group

This group supports people with learning difficulties who meet twice a week to make textile items and home accessories. A selection of cushions, pillows, aprons, draft excluders, tea cosies and bags for all occasions are available for sale in the gallery.

Louise Le Luyer Miller

Louise completed a Masters in industrial Ceramic design graduating with Distinction from Staffordshire University in 1995. She represented the University at the London New Designers and was awarded the best new ceramic designer gaining a design position for Wedgwood. She worked for Lenox China in NY for 13 years and designed what is still the top selling pattern in the USA for 20 years; Butterfly Meadow. Returning to painting Louise has been working in a more loose contemporary style using inks and watercolours.

Catherine Highfield is the creative mind behind Purple Panda Creations, a proud member of Genuine Jersey, which was established during 2017 as a creative outlet whilst being a full time mum to 2 year old twins and a 10 month old baby.It quickly evolved into a passion (and many a late night!) for designing and creating bespoke sentimental gifts for all special occasions and new product lines which are now sold in 19 different outlets across 3 of the Channel Islands. Away with the Fairies

I am a textile artist specialising in natural dyeing, ecoprinting, spinning and embroidery. Inspired by nature my designs usually incorporate plants or flowers one way or another. I love to repurpose preloved fabric to sew into and dye with.

Simon Bossy

Simon Bossy is a marine biologist that has taken up Gyotaku ( literally fish printing) of mostly local species. Fish are laid out , painted with specialised inks then fine Japanese paper is floated on to the subject ,which is then rubbed lightly and paper pulled off to get the image. Seaweed and background maybe added later. Simon has used this ancient Japanese method to bring us images and impressions of what he has seen in his marine work.

Rosalind Varrie

I am a mixed media textile artist working with textile paint, fabric, glass, paper, wire, Swarovski Crystals and photography. I create my own designs, then use them in my jewellery which is made in Jersey, every piece is unique. My accessory range is produced by a UK company, using my unique designs.

Vince Thorne

Vince Thorne is a well-respected, professional freelance photographer, based in St. Helier, Jersey. Specialising in a variety of areas, from weddings to portrait, landscape and commercial photography. As an amateur artist working with mixed media, I enjoy developing my ideas through a variety of different mediums. Handmade Arts and Crafts which range from greeting cards, alcohol inks and photography, at present for my latest work I am concentrating working with Resin and Acrylic paints.

Athene Sholl

I am never comfortable away from the sea and for me Jersey is a constant source of inspiration with its large tidal range and ever changing shoreline. I see exciting patterns and shapes everywhere …. in the sky, the sea, the sand, the rocks and pools. And the final key is colour, both vibrant and positive.Sadly Peter Knight passed away 2 years ago but we are still able to access his prints.

In my still life pictures, I try to reincarnate the traditional (painted by masters) still life with the help of modern photography and advanced lighting techniques, without manipulation in graphic software. I also try not to copy or imitate, but simply to move further along the path of studying harmony, color, light, etc and for me it's like a music that can transform into shapes which we can contemplate.

Strongly impressed by the work of Turner I am mostly known for landscapes of France and Jersey.A lot of the work is executed by palette-knife in oils.I am fascinated by sky studies and have spent a lot of time studying clouds. Lauren Radley

Lauren Radley as a shop and brand was born five years ago when I began creating whimsical maps of places and cities I know and love. They received such an amazing response, that it led to the start of a business I now run together with my husband Emile.After the birth of our daughter Sukie, I was inspired to create bold, colourful and inspirational kids prints and greetings cards, with a strong theme of education, determination and individuality (all of the qualities I believe are so important in raising children!). Soon the range of products grew, and I began putting my heart and soul into creating collections that I hope spread a little bit of love and magic into the lives of people.
