Simon Bossy

Simon Bossy is a marine biologist that has taken up Gyotaku ( literally fish printing) of mostly local species. Fish are laid out , painted with specialised inks then fine Japanese paper is floated on to the subject ,which is then rubbed lightly and paper pulled off to get the image. Seaweed and background maybe added later. Simon has used this ancient Japanese method to bring us images and impressions of what he has seen in his marine work.
