Croissants from Carrouges - Buying Antique Textiles in France
We are delighted to welcome Adi Higham, BBC1 The Bidding Room and Tara Franklin expert in French vintage textiles to Jersey for The Great Harbour Gallery Jersey Upcycling Challenge & Silent Auction, opening Tuesday 12th October, in association with Acorn Re Use.
Tara will be talking to us about her gorgeous collection of French vintage textiles

Tara Franklin will be bringing vintage french textile pieces for people to handle and is talking about her passion for antique textiles and the excitement of buying them in France. She will also be touching on the relevance of the antique and vintage textiles in our lives today and how they can make the ordinary something extraordinary. Tara has been a dealer now for 30 years and feels very privileged to do what she does.
The Beaulieu Chapel will be open to view the beautiful French stained glass and for contemplation from 7.00pm
